My family (Pauff) is originally from the Henry Co. and Wood Co. areas. They immigrated there about 1850 or so from Baden Germany. Michael(1805-1886) is the name of the original immigrant. My line follows a son Joseph (1848-?) then Peter (1871-1906) to a Franklin Henry (1895-1977) etc. down to me. If this sounds familiar to you, let me know. I have not come across any Pauffs in that area who were not related. If you reply directly to me, I will send you more.
