Many of the families with the Black surname in Clark Co., IL are related to Malinda Black GoodmanSome of the questions are who are the parents of Micajah Goodman and Malinda Black Goodman? For sure, many theory's, are there any will's to prove parentage. It is thought that Malinda Black's father & mother are Josiah Black and Rebecca Oglethorpe. Malinda has a brother named Josiah Oglethorpe Black. Any thought's on this? Malinda Black Goodman & Micajah Goodman are buried in the Black Cemetery, on the State line between Clark Co., IL and Vigo Co., IN along with many members of their families.
Would like very much to exchange information and correspond with descendants of these families. Zabette
