I'm looking for anyone who might have a connection to a James Black who
would have been living in Wayne County (Centerville), Indiana around 1827.
I believe he may have had a daughter or maybe a sister named Elizabeth Black
who married a Benjamin Benbow in Wayne County in 1827. The Blacks would have
come from Virginia. I have Elizabeth as being born in Virginia but don't
know where. The Benbows would have come to Indiana from South Carolina. I
know the Benbows belonged to the Friends Church but don't know of a
religious affiliation for the Blacks. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
