Looking for ancest. of John W. Black,born around 1850-1860 in or around Williamson County Ill. Moved to Corning Arkansas started a lumber Company that became one of Arkansas largest during the early 1900s,
Had two sons: Charles R.Black, and L.C. Black, three daughters: Mrs.J.W. Baynham, Mrs. M.C. Hoffman and Mrs. Sino Wortman. Worman lived in St.Louis all other children are listed in obit. as living in Corning Arkansas.
James Black was the father of John W. Black and was from Williamson County, Ill. area.
any hits would be appreciated....
