I would appreciate any information on Alfred Jerome Black. All I have is:

b. 12/1874 in Humboldt,Allen,KS or Arkansas
d. 1960 in Pagosa Springs,Archuleta,CO
b. Hilltop Cemetary Pagosa Springs,Archuleta,CO
m. Mildred Ann Armstrong 1904 in Pagosa Springs,Archuleta,CO
They later divorced. Children were Charlotte Lorraine, Dorothy Lucille, Lorin Armstrong, Volney Jerome (both boys died while babies).

Alfred's Parents:

James C. Black
b. 4/14/1830 - ,Floyd,IN
d. 7/13/1893 - ,Allen,KS
m. Margaret Ann Bell 1851 in IN. They divorced and he remarried (twice?)

Margaret Ann Bell
b. 1833 in IN?
d. 1/4/1914
b. Hilltop Cemetary Pagosa Springs,Archuleta,CO

Some of their children were:

Fanny, John, Mary Ann, Sarah, William, Abram, Warden Ray, Alfred, Grace (note Margaret apparently was somewhat colorful, some of these children may have been from later unions)
