To whomever reads this: I am searching for my husbands family tree. His g.grandfather was Eleck Hodges (all dates are unknown). Eleck had about 11 siblings. Eleck married a Melissa A. BINGHAM. They were married in Vernon, TX by the year of 1911 cause their 2nd child (my husbands grandfather was born in Oct. 1911-His name was Horace W. BLACK.) Horace was 14 in 1925 when his mother passed away in Vernon, TX. Later on in 1934 or so, Horace married a Ruby J. GAUSE. Their oldest child was born Dec. 11, 1935. They also had two daughters. Their oldest child (Horace W. BLACK, Jr. aka: Sonny Black passed away on Jan. 5, 2001. My husband really misses his father and grandfather. So that is my dream to find out all about his ancestry. If you all could help guide me and give me any clues, then that would most appreciated. Thanks for having this great website.
