Bob,
We were in contact last december concerning our ancesters from Ireland. I have now traced back to Ireland my GGGrandfather named John Black and he was born about 1804 in Ballisodare, Sligo County, Ireland. He had a number of sons, one of which was named John and was born about 1835, also born there. If this rings a bell, I have more information.
