I missed the message regarding the Enid, OK BLACKs. My mother is related to that family. She had a brother and sister who lived most of their lives (with large families) in Enid, Stillwater, Wakita, OK region. She is 91 and has many relatives in that region of the state.
If I can be of any help, I would welcome any queries. She is in very poor health but would be glad to do what I can if she (and I) are a part of the Black line for which you are looking.

There are 2 pages of names, addresses and phone numbers, many are male. Maybe you could compose a letter and send it to each..you may get some results, as men don't usually change their last name..maybe one of them is a brother or cousin to your mother. Worth a shot.
