A virus went out under my e-mail address to several of you. I received the BADTRANS virus via an attachment from an e-mail from a trusted friend. I thought I was protected, but I had not been receiving virus updates since changing my email address.

I have updated my virus list,restored the automatic update, and scannned my hard drive. The affected files have been quarantined and my machine should be safe.

Please scan your machine for this virus and delete any messages received from me between 8/22 and this message. I apologize for the trouble this has caused.
