My grandfather was Lincoln Depew Black. He was born Feb 12, 1899 (Place unknown) and died sometime in 1942 in Brooklyn. He was an organist and played for the silent movies and later for the Park Circle Roller Rink also in Brooklyn. He married Gladys Robinson of Patchogue, NY and they had 3 children; Edward, Gertrude and Charles (my father). All this I have learned from my father. However, my grandfather seemed to be somewhat of a rolling stone and at this time I can find no trace of him or his father and mother in records I have reviewed.
