Hello,
I am researching the ancestors and descendents of George Black, born 1795 in Cruden Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. Possibly his parents were John Black, and Christian Wilson, married in 1779. George married Jane Bruce in 1829. They had 7 daughters and 4 sons, all born in Scotland. In 1854 George and Jane and their children moved to Gainsborough Township, Lincoln Co, Ontario.
Their daughters were:

Christian (1832-1894), married John Clark, moved to Michigan.
Elizabeth (1834 - 1877), married Peter Crossley, moved to Illinois
Grace (1836-?), married Calvin Robins, moved to Michigan ???
Jane (1844--?), married Samuel Burns, moved to Michigan
Margaret (1845-1922), married Nelson Heaslip, married Hugh Ried, moved to New York
Helen (1848-1911), married James Brewer, remained in Ontario
Mary (1852-1927), married Phillip Naegarth, remained in Ontario ???

Sons:
Alexander (??), married Elizabeth ???, moved to Michigan
George (1830-1887), married Ann McGillivery, remained in Ontario
Robert (1838-1921), married Julia Misener, remained in Ontario
James Edward (1842-1924), married Orisa Howard, married Ann Hougton, moved to Michigan
