I am just fascinated. I am repeating information told to me by my Grandmother and I've told you just about all I know except I thought she told me Mathilda was born in the states. A comment was made about Albert applying for US citizenship and she said he shouldn't have had any problem since his Mother was born someplace like Colorado. I just don't know if that is true. How did you find the names of Mathilda's parents? That's terrific. I live in Chicago but go often to Collingwood, Ont. and Aurora and Cannington aren't far. I'll order the census at the library. I'm trying to follow Albert forward to find out more about him. My grandparents divorced when my Mother was small and while I have some information he was never a part of our family.Please reply.
