Thanks for the information. I don't know too much but remember my grandmother saying my grandfather was a handsome, dark haired older man. She was born in 1888,and I had guessed maybe 5 years so 1881 fits in my timeline. I also remember my mother saying her father had a lot of brothers and we always knew there were twins in his family. I just came across information they lived in the Aurora area a few days before you posted your notice, and that is King Township,and my Mother had a cousin named Norris living in the Aurora area. I was told John was Northern Irish and Mathilda was Welsh.. I was told Mathilda left John eventually and emigrated to a Western Province with one of her sons. John remained in Ont. living with one of his other sons as my grandmother spoke of him coming up to Collingwood for a visit. Out of space. Please reply, Margaret
