I don't know a lot about the family other than what I found in the 1891 census, but it sounds like we might have a connection. I got my local library to bring in a copy of the census film from the National Archives in Ottawa. Prior to that all I knew were the children's names and was able to identify the right family that way. Since the census doesn't list the wife's maiden name I didn't know Matilda's last name either. According to the census Albert would have been born about 1881, does this sound like your Albert. The only other information that my grandmother could remember was that Thomas was known as Elmer (his middle name) and that Francis was known as Fanny, they were twins born about 1886. Elmer's wife's name was May and they had a son named Joe who was killed along with the entire wedding party on his wedding day, shortly after that Elmer committed suicide. Does any of this sound familiar to you. Hope to hear from you soon. Deb
