I have a copy of 1 page of "Columbia County, Pennsylvania School Children,
1811 - 1829" by Harriette M. Wheeler. In this it lists children whose
parents were not able to pay for their schooling. It gives "family name,
following which are given the township, the year, and the children's names
and ages."

Black, James, Derry 1814; William, Mary; 1815; Mary 10.

Does this read that William and Mary where James Black's children? Or does
this read that James Black was in school in 1814, that William and Mary were
in school in 1815 and that Mary was 10 year old?

Does anyone know anything about these children? Who their parents were,
etc." Thanks. Millie
