Hello all....

I've tried to contact the list owner as requested before posting a virus
warning. However, I have not gotten a response; therefore, I am going to
pass on this information anyway.

I received an attachment from someone on the list whom I suspect is infected
with a virus. KEY WORD: SUSPECT!!!! I could be wrong. However, the email
has all of the characteristics of a virus because it sends a response to me
with the same heading...copies the body of the letter and says look at the
attachment.

However, I have ran a virus scan on this and it does not show there is a
virus. Going into the property of the downloaded attachment, it shows that
it is in relationship to DOS and has nothing to do with a text file.

I, then, went online to research this possible virus as a joke, true virus or
a hoax....and can find absolutely nothing on it.

The file is called You look Fat. I have heard of this before but don't
remember the details in regard to a hoax or joke. However, as I said it has
all of the characteristic of a virus and felt I should alert others that this
is coming from this list.

I emailed the individual to alert them to the fact that they may have a virus
and the same thing happened....it came back to me with the same heading just
like it was a response....copies the body text and said look at the
attachment.

Therefore, if it is not a virus...I apologize. However, until we know for
sure.....I suggest you not open attachments...especially one as I described.
