I'm searching for the ancestors of an Elizabeth Black who was born in
Virginia December 17, 1804. She married Benjamin Benbow October 27, 1827 in
Wayne County, Indiana. They had the following children: Barclay, Margaret,
Mary Jane, Malinda, Ann, Emily Elizabeth Burbank, Rebecca, Elizabeth Emily
m. George D. Hunter, and Barkley. Elizabeth died October 9, 1892 in Boone,
Iowa and is buried there. I believe her family may have been Quakers
because the Benbow family were Quakers.. I have come up against a brick wall
with Elizabeth Although I have generations of ancestors and descendants of
Benjamin Benbow I would be happy to share with family. Hoping for some
