MR. DARRELL LACY BLACK, 77, resident of Osprey, FL. passed away, 3/3/01.
Born 1/13/24 in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Florida in 1989 from Dallas,
TX. Retired Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Shell Oil Co. (1983),
retired Vice Chairman and CAO Maxus Energy Corporation 1991.

Graduated from Wichita State University; Washburn University and Notre
Dame University. Member of U.S. Marine Corps serving in W. W. II and Korean
Conflict. Member of St. Marks Episcopal Church, Venice, The Oaks Club,
The Field Club and The Texas Bar Association.

Survivors include: wife Sharon C. Black, Osprey, FL; 2 daughters, Donna
L. Black, Denver, CO and Marilyn E. Black, Los Angeles, CA; 2 sons, David
R. Black, Houston, TX, and Douglas A. Black, Tyler, TX; stepsons, Clay
C. Mosier and Stephen C. Mosier and 8 grandchildren. Memorial service Monday,
3/5/01, 4:00 P.M. St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 513 Nassau Street, Venice.
