Trying to find information on a Ferdinand Charles Black.
Believe to have married a Caroline Luker. They lived in
Red Oak Iowa in Dec of 1884 when who I believe was their youngest son was
born, also named Ferdinand Charles Black.
He was born Dec 14, 1884. His parents were said to have died when he was
12 years old. He was to have had one older
brother who upon his parents death took off and he never saw
him again and at 12 he was left to take care of himself. He
was a very private man and did not share much with the family of his past.
I obtained his application for social
security that he filled out in 1942 and that is where I obtained his parents
names and his place of birth. Am trying to find something on this line.
