Does anyone have a Mary Ann (Polly) Black, born about 1925, most likely
in the Pendleton District. She married Robert Powell on the 13 of Jun
1845 in Pickens Co., SC. Robert Powell was a son of Almon Powell and
Elizabeth Gordon.

I think she was a daughter of Allen Black and Jane. Allen Black died in
Pickens Co., SC about 1857. I also think in other children in the
family of Allen Black and Jane were: J.M., Nancy, J.G., Sarah A., John,
Martha J., William, L. W. and of course Mary Ann, the subject of this
posting.
