Where did the Descendants of Abraham Black live in West Virginia? I have an
Andrew Black b. Mar 1825, found in Cabell Co., WV on 1850, 1860, 1880 & 1900
census records.

Andrew Black was born Mar 1825 in [West] Virginia, and died Bet. 1900 - 1910.
He married (1) Hulda Smith 05 Mar 1846 in Cabell Co., [West] Virginia. She
was born abt. 1823 in Virginia. He married (2) Lucinda Chapman 03 Apr 1852
in Cabell Co., [West] Virginia, daughter of John Chapman and Lucy Hudson.
She was born 21 Oct 1827 in [West] Virginia, and died 1919 in Cabell Co.,
West Virginia.

Andrew & his 1st wife Huldah Smith had at least 2 children (possibly more):
1) Mary Ann b. abt 1847; 2) Margaret b. abt 1849.

Andrew & his 2nd wife Lucinda Chapman had at least 5 children (possibly
more): 1) Araminta b. abt. 1853; 2) John W., b. abt. 1856; 3) William L., b.
abt. 1860; 4) Lucy E., b. abt. 1862; 5) Joseph M. b. abt. 1865.

Several deeds on file at Cabell Co. for Adam Black & James C. Black. Could
these be the same ones as ancestors of Andrew Black?
