Bob: Do you have any other information on Charles and Margaret Black -
like where they came from before Detroit and whether they born in the US
or perhaps Ireland? I have a GGgrandfather John Black who was born about
1835 in Ireland. Don't know when he came to US but he married Lena van
Bell about 1856/57 and they lived in Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Manhattan
about 1875. He apparently died there within the next 5 years but I can't
locate a death record. It seems to be a very interesting coincidence that
your Charles and Margaret had a child John who subsequently named a daughter
Lena BELLE, very close to my GGgrandmother Lena van Bell. Any more info
you can provive about your BLACK line would be appreciated! Regards, Bob
