Could your Joseph Black be my ggreat grandfather, Joseph Penn Black? Joseph
Penn Black was born around 1832 in IL. His father was from KY and mother
from OH. He married Lucy Jane Dimmick in White Oak Springs, Wis. in January
1854. He was a farmer in Montecello at that time. They moved to Apple River,
Jo Daviess Co., IL by 1860 where he worked as atraveling salesman for the
Hapgood Plow Company for years. Please respond to
