Surname: Black, Kelly
-------------------------
At an antique shop, I recently purchased a 4x6 studio photograph of two
women and a baby, whose picture was taken by a professional photographer
"Taylor, Perkins Block, Ames, IA", in approx. 1890. I enjoy buying lovely
old pictures like these in antique shops and locating descendants/family
members and re-uniting the pictures with people who will treasure them.
The picture is in excellent condition, and shows a baby girl, about 11
mo. old, with women on each side, ages about 25 and 45. The ladies are
in high collared dresses, quite typical of the area of 1890-1900, and the
baby wears a white dress. On the accompanying paper is written "Mrs. C.
L. Black, Ida Kelly and Dorothy". I believe Mrs. Black is the grandmother
and likely Ida Kelly is her daughter and Dorothy Kelly is the granddaughter.
If this is your family, please do NOT post here, but Email me directly.
