Well, there is a Nathan, who is a brother to John (b.1818) who was said
to have been born in Florida, moved to North Carolina, then on to Texas.
I don't know much about him, but here's what I have. If it looks interesting,
I may be able to find out who submitted the article for you.

i.ARCHIBALD BLACK, b. Bet. 1801 - 1817, North Carolina, USA; d. 1898,
Alabama, USA; m. LOUISA OR LAVICY NATIONS; b. Bet. 1825 - 1827, Alabama,
USA.

ii.SAMUEL BLACK, b. Abt. 1799, Florida, USA (?); m. ELIZABETH BURTON;
b. Abt. 1801.

iii.JOHN BLACK, b. January 12, 1818, North Carolina, USA; d. Bet. February
10, 1886 - 1896; m. FRANCES "FANNIE" BARTON, 1845; b. Abt. 1826, Alabama,
USA; d. Abt. 1886.

iv.NATHAN BLACK, b. Florida, USA (?).
