to everyone whom e-mail me,

i am soooo sorry about not getting back to you. but i have been extremely
busy. i am in charge of a new project, the New Mexico Death Index Project,
and i am going on holiday tomorrow, so have to complete everything before i
left. and i am counting the hours before i get my car and drive off in the
sunset for a peaceful 1½ weeks of just sightseeing!

i have some corrections when i sent out the e-mail. i am trying to find the
father of a descendant, William Black. he was born about 1830's, and
thought to be from Missouri. i am still waiting for the wedding
investigation report when William married Juana María Chávez, in Socorro,
New Mexico. in the book, New Mexican Roots, by Fr. A. Chávez, in 1851,
William Blax (Black), son of Peter Black and Selis or Noran ?(the author
could not decipher the name) applied to marry Juana María Chávez.

so i ask if anyone had a Peter Black.
