Long shot, but I have an ARTHUR L. Black in my line who was b. in 1882 (I
think in August) in NY. Is it possible that the name was Arthur? His
parents were Wm. E. Black and Julia Myers.

When Esther & Alfred Black were in their 40s, they had one son: Robert
