Looking for Samuel BLACK, born 1822-1830? Resided in Reynolds Co. Missouri,
married 3 times with children by all 3 wives. I do not know his first
wife's name, but they had a son named Joseph Marion BLACK, born 1848.
Samuel's second wife was Elizabeth Annabel (SUTTERFIELD/SATTERFIELD) MATHIS,
and together they had 6 children, William Riley b.1863, Martha M. b.1865,
Mary Jane b.1867, Henry Samuel "Sam" b.1869, Alzada E. b.1871, and James
Monroe, b.1874. Samuel's 3rd wife was Anolisa (LEVITT) SMITH, together
their children were Catharine b. 1884, Jacob L. b.1886, and Charles Sinclair
b. 1890.

Samuel died circa 1891. I can find no information on him prior to him
coming to Reynolds Co. I first find hime in the 1870 Reynolds Co. census.
Although I do find other Samuel BLACK's in Reynolds Co.prior to 1870, data
does not coincide, therefore I believe there were other Samuel BLACK's in
the area.

I would LOVE to hear from anyone who knows ANYTHING on any of these
families.
