In response to your inquiry about a Black Research Group, I see that Lynda
Sykes has given you some good answers. Lynda is on this small group of
Blacks who share information with each other via e-mail. My husband is
a descendent of Benjamin Blair Black and Rachel Berry and I am the researcher.
Most of the Blacks on this group are from Benjamin Blair Black and wives,
(1)Rachel Berry and (2)Jane Little. We have two on this group who are descended
from Alexander Black who was a brother to Benjamin Blair Black. We have
three or four on this group who are descended from Alexander Frierson Black
whom we are trying to put in with Benjamn Blair's line somehow. We have
a new person on our group list who is a descendant of Miles Berry, whom
we feel was the father of Rachel Berry, BBB's first wife. One of our main
goals is to find the father of Benjamin Blair Black and this is challenging.
We would love to have you working with us. If you are interested, please
e-mail me, Royce Black, , and I will be glad to explain
more about the purpose of our Black Family Research group.
