I am looking for the parents of Sophrona Black Jones and her husbands
parents also, John {Jack} William Jones. John W. Jones was born in 1818 in
Ga. and married Sophrona Black on July 10, 1837. He died in Forest, Texas
and is buried in Alto, Texas. Sophrona Black was born in 1820 in S.C. and
died in Forest, Texas and is buried at the Forest-Thompson Cementery.
They had 14 children together. I have dates of birth and who they married if
anyone can relate to them.

2. Rockie Ann Jones--born 1839
3. Nancy E. Jones--bprn 1841
4. John H. Jones--born 1842
5. Wesley T. Jones--born 1843
6. John Sophriah Jones--born 1845
7. I. Sophina Jones--born July 31, 1846
8. Josephus Augustus Jones--born Feb. 1, 1847--twin to Josephine
9. Josephine Augusta Jones--born Feb. 1, 1847--twin to Josephus--she was my
GG Grandmother
10. Madaria D. Jones--born 1849
11. Frank P. Jones-born 1853
12. Francis P. Jones--born 1853
13. Madora {Mary}Ida Jones--born 1854
14. Daniel Marcus Jones--born April 10, 1858

In hopes that someone is familiar with some of these children or the
