A small group of researchers who descend from BENJAMIN BLAIR BLACK (b 1808
KY, m Rachel Berry 1827 Jackson Co. AL, m Jane Little 1840, arrived Freestone
Co. TX Spring 1851) and ALEXANDER FRIERSON BLACK (b 1825-29 MS, m Lucinda
Green 1855 Freestone Co. TX, arrived Freestone Co. TX Spring 1851) have
been trying to find a connection between these two men. And we concentrate
on just this line of Blacks. If you believe you are a descendant of these
Blacks, we'd be glad to hear from you. [Very likely A.F. Black is a nephew
of BB Black-- and there are certainly other family members/siblinsgs besides
AF's father. Probably an Alex., Wm., John, etc. We don't seem to have any
unusual names to guide us through this family.]
