Hi All:

Nice to belong to a group who has the same challenges I do: a common name,
which in a database search, more often than not, pulls up all of the African
American entries, as well as the surname! What the heck.....another 4,000
entries to look at never hurt anyone, right? :)

1847 in NY. They lived in Brooklyn, NYC most of their married life. Their
children:

Isaac Raphael (Ralph) BLACK (my g-gf) b. 1876 in Brooklyn, d. 1828.
Emma BLACK b. 1862 in NY, m. MC KEON, then MILLS
Harriett BLACK, b. 1874 in Brooklyn, m. Louis BLEND
Marion E. BLACK, b. 1879 in NY.
Julia BLACK, b. 1881 in NY.
Arthur L. BLACK, b. 1882 in NY.
