My late husband, Craig Call Black's ahnentafel is as follows:

1 Craig Call Black (1932-1998)

2 Dr. Arthur Proctor Black (1900-1963) =Mary Nichols
child: Craig

4 William Francis Black (1868-1910) = Hattie Pamelia Lovell
children: William, Robert Lovell, Arthur Proctor, and Alice

8 Samuel Robert Black (1841-1912) = Emma Frances Call
children: William Francis, Annie, and Fred

16 William Black (1805-1865) = Rebecca Benson
children: Samuel Robert, Joseph, Henderson, and ?

32 Joseph Black (prob. b. ca. 1780) = Abigail McClung (married 1804)

children: William and ???

The first three were born in Greenbrier Co., VA (WV). William
Francis and Arthur were born in Kearney, Nebraska. I would be grateful
for any information about Joseph's parents, other siblings, etc. I know
that William Black's son Joseph, who was mayor of Kearney in 1884,
married Ellen ?, and had children
Nellie, Allie, Kate, and Frank (?). I have no information about any
other children, marriages, etc. Craig's Uncle Robert and Aunt Alice had
no children. I know nothing about his Uncle William; he was never
mentioned.
