Deaths (02/15/00) BLACK _ Grace M. (nee Earle), in Vancouver Hospital UBC
on February 13, 2000 at the age of 87, after a long illness. Survived by
sister Jean Evans of Burlington, Ontario; son Phillip Humphries of Stateline,
Nevada, USA; daughter Cathy Pidluberg of Victoria, BC; grandsons Mark and
Matthew; and granddaughter Sandy. Grace was Past President of the Elizabeth
Fry Society, and an active member of the West Point Grey United Church
and University Womens Club. She will be missed by her many friends and
extended family. The family would especially like to thank the Nursing
and Support Staff at Vancouver Hospital UBC for filling Gracie's final
years with love and dignity. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday,
February 16, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Point Grey United Church, 8th
and Tolmie. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the West Point Grey United
Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Vancouver Sun, Area Code 604
