Andrew J. BLACK to Mahaley BLAIR, Dec. 30 1846, Benton Co. AL
You know Benton became Calhoun Co. & perhaps this is another marriage
for him or a son (?) --Andrew Black to Harriett Alexander Oct 21 1874
Calhoun, Co.

I also am researching Blacks in Benton/Calhoun Co. AL. Benjamin _Blair_
BLACK. Could be we are related. Benj. B. BLACK was born 1808 KY,
married Rachel BERRY in Jackson Co. AL in 1827, after her death he
married Jane LITTLE in Benton Co. in 1840. They lived in Monroe Co. MS
in 1850 census, and were in Freestone Co. TX by Spring 1851.

Tell me more about your BLACKS. (I also have a line of Blacks who lived
in Clarke & Marengo Co. prior to 1850. Alabama Blacks are very important
to me. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
