Looking for the family of Elias John Black born Nov 1837 in
Harrison, Wells County, Indiana. Parents were born VI.
Married to Nancy Jane Long born Mar 1846 in Ohio. Parents
were born KY.

Married on Nov 7 1867 by James Whitlock, a minister of the Cumberland Presbyterian
church near Georgetown, Vermillion County, IL. The church was called Mt. Pisgah
about two miles from Georgetown.

Elias John Black served from IL:
Elias J Black Residence Dallas, Harrison County, Missouri
Enlisted on 6/6/61 as a private.
On 8/4/61 he mustered into "D" Co. IL 25th Infantry
He mustered out on 9/5/64 at Camp Butler, Springfield, Illinois.

Elias and Nancy Black moved to the Gentry and Worth County
MO area around 1876 and are buried in Oxford Worth MO.
