Hi,
I am new to this list. I am looking for the family of my
greatgrandmother,Louise Black b. Nov. 7,1874 possibly in Charleston, SC. I
have been told that during the Civil War her father
supplied horses for the Confederate Troops. Her mother is reported to have
been a half-breed Cherokee Indian. She had at least 2 brothers and one
sister. Her sister was Mamie and married a Junius
Parks and they lived in Greenville ,SC.
Louise was married the second time to James Emory Hudson and there were 3
sons from this union. James , Jr.,Henry Harold (my grandfather) and John
Wesley. They lived in Atlanta, Ga.

Any information that anyone may have on her or her parents or siblings will
be greatly appreciated.
