Subject: [BLACK-L] RE: Daniel BLACK--PA to St. Joseph County, Michigan

Hello all......

I am trying to determine if Daniel BLACK who shows up in the 1880 census ( he
popped up in St. Joseph County in 1860) is related to my BLACKs in Three
Rivers, St. Joseph County, Michigan. From the research I have done, I have
reason to believe that he was probably a cousin to Whitney (Joseph W. BLACK
b. March 1830 in New York, d. April 1902 in Three Rivers, St. Joseph County,
Michigan).

Anyhow, this is the information I have on Daniel BLACK from the 1880, St.
Joseph County (Lockport, Three Rivers, MI) census:

Daniel BLACK 50,Teamster b. in PA--both of his parents are listed as being
born in PA
Margaret 44, b. in PA--work in PA-----her parents are listed as being born
Maryland.

They lived on Fourth Street, Lockport Township, Three Rivers, St. Joseph
County, MI

This is what I have on this family for the 1860 Census, Fabius, Three Rivers,
St. Joseph County, MI:

Daniel Black 32--farmer--b. PA
Margaret 22--b. PA
Mary BLACK, 4--b. MI
William OSWALD, 27--farmer--b. PA

Does anyone know anything about this family? If so, please contact me.

Thanks,

Colleen
