Hi Black Cousins
Has anyone heard of a book called "From Pioneer to Scientist" by Carl and
Bessie Black. This has the history ofGreen Vardman Black and his ancestors.
He was a nephew of my Thomas Gillespie Black. and the son of William Black
and Mary Vaughn. He was born in TN or IL. He served in the Army during the
Civil War and is considered the "father of modern dentistry." I have tried
to get this book on interlibrary loan but to no avail.
Any information will be appreciated. Thank You.
