Hi Black cousins,
I am trying to locate a book called "From Pioneer toScientist by" by Carl
and Bessie Black. It may be just been printed privately.. It is the
history of the Black FAmily of Green Vardiman Black, who is considered the
father of Modern Dentistry. He was the son of William Black and Mary
Vaughn. He was born in TN or IL and served in the Civil War as a dentist.
His Uncle was Thomas Gillespie Black, my direct ancestor.
I have tried inter-library loan but to no avail.
If you have this book or have heard of it,. please let me know.
