For those of you who have not yet sent your permission but plan to, make sure to read this entire message. For everyone, especially for those who followed directions the first time, I apologize for listmembers sending their permission to the list rather than to me privately and I hope this message puts an end to that....

My original message I sent requesting permission was followed by every list...except the Black list...as usual. That is to be expected I suppose since there are nearly 800 subscribers compared to the second largest list with nearly only 200, but it appears that the majority of the BLACK listmembers just skim messages and don't follow directions, so here they are again, more detailed...Please note that the CAPS are ONLY emphasis, and for those who like to skim, and not shouting:)

First you need to send me a message (PRIVATELY)that says "You have my permission to place my messages to the BLACK list on the Genealogy Depository" or you can be more detailed if you want to be specific about which messages, but DO NOT HAVE THE MESSAGE ANY LESS DETAILED THAN WHAT IS IN THE QUOTES. Folks, the reason for this permission request is for legal purposes, you own the copyright to your posts and with that, you have the say so of what happens to them. Sending a message that says just "you have my permission" (which most have done) does not work, it leaves too many questions....or "you have my permission to put my messages to the SURNAME list on the Genealogy Depository" (which some have done) does not cut it because there IS NO SURNAME list. If YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO SENT MESSAGE LIKE THAT, DON'T BOTHER RESENDING, when I get to your posts, I will email you for the permission.

Please folks, let's quit clogging everyone's mailbox by sending the permissions to the list, and starting sending them to me privately. Thank you. Have a good day everyone and good luck. Again, I was not shouting with the CAPS, they were only for emphasis :)
