Hello ,

I'm new to this list, just wanted to know if anyone has any information
on Robert Black who had a son named Joseph that lived in Anderson District,
Abbeville, S.C.?

When Joseph Black died he left two young sons, one of which was David
Abbott Black (my descendant). Joseph's wife was named Mary ? she sold land
to the Cedar Springs Church, five acres to be exact. the two young sons were
bound out by the Liddell family who handled the estate.

Later Robert Black's sons went to Wilcox Co. Al. As did David Abbott
Black who was living with the Liddell family.

David Abbott Black married Mary A. Young, daughter of Samuel and
Elizabeth Bonner Young on 1-24-1833. They had 10 children:

2. Martha Katherine Black

3. Sarah Margaret Black

4. James Pressly Black

5. Mary Jane Black

6. Samuel Oliver Black

7. Anna Young Black

8. Emma Lucretia Black

9. Florence Bonner Black

10. Adaline Black
