Hi List,

I have Pennsylvania Black's. My ggggrandmother was Elizabeth BLACK b.
12 Feb 1812 Pittsburgh, Allegheney Co. PA, d after 1900, m 1st 1828
Pittsburgh, PA David GRUBAUGH, 2nd John HORN 17 January 1851 Ohio

Her parents may be a George and Elizabeth BLACK, or a Samuel and
Elizabeth BLACK. At the moment, no one can prove either set as
Elizabeth's parents.

There is a possiblity that BLACK was originally SWARTZ, as Elizabeth
spoke German as well as English. Or it may be she learned German while
married to David GRUBAUGH.

I have a great deal of information on Elizabeth BLACK's and David
GRUBAUGH's children and am more than willing to share. Any help
shedding light on her parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
