"OESTERLING -- Barbara Juanice. Sept. 4, 1939 - April 15, 1999. "Barbie"
was
born in Texas. She worked as a bartender-waitress and was one of the
first
female bartenders in the East County. She is survived by her husband, C.
Vance Oesterling; her daughter, Sherri Jines; her mother, Melba Allen of
Houston, Texas; her brothers Woody & Ernie Cornett, Texas, & Earl of
Tacoma, Wash. She was preceded in death by her son Raymond Black. She had
nine grandchildren & one great grandchild. Memorial will be 11:00 AM,
Saturday April 24th, at the Lakeside VFW. Donations to the Kaiser
Hospice,
The American Cancer Society, or the UCSD School of Medicine. "
