Thanks so much for answering my query. I have no info on the original
Black, born abt 1725 in No Ireland. Apparently lived in Greenbrier.He had a
son Samuel and a son Frederick born in Greenbrier abt 1780.William Francis
Black born abt 1808 died 2-12-1863; his brother Frederick Joseph Black b abt
1808. I also have a Samuel Robert Black born abt 1840 died in 1912 In
1861 he joined a wagon train in Council Bluffs Iowa and went to Calif. He
married Emma Frances Call (born 1849) in San Francisco in 1864 and they
moved back to Iowa. I also have a Frederick Joseph Black born 12-2-1870
died 12-6-1948, married Pearl Rosaline Roe B 3-20-1877, died sept 1911.
Pearl was my grandmother. Thanks for all your help.
