Looking for more Blacks myself. Here's where I am.

JOSEPH M BLACK b Mar 1829 AL, married Letha Ann O'Neal in Marengo Co AL
in 1850, came to Anderson Co. TX in Dec 1850. Lived Brushy Creek. Had 6
children, one was Mary Elizabeth Black, my ggrandma. He had two brothers
I know of--there were surely others, but these were in the BLACK Bible.

WILLIAM F/H BLACK born 1809/10 KY married Rhoda S Hylton 1845 Marengo Co
AL, Lived Bossier Parish LA 1850-1860, three of his 4/5 children came to
Anderson Co by 1870.

THOMAS C BLACK, b abt 1817 TN, who also came to Anderson Co. TX Dec 1850
and had a family. He was married to Lydia Harrison O'Neal (O'Neal was
the name of her first husband, Harrison was her maiden name.)

AND I have another family of BLACKS:

BENJAMIN BLAIR BLACK who lived in Jackson Co AL, then Calhoun Co AL,
then Monroe Co MS before coming to Freestone Co. TX in 1851/. He was b
1808 KY, and had about 10-11 children born AL, MS and TX. Two wives:
Rachel Berry and Jane Little...I have info on the chn. Lots of
descendants.

Benjamin B Black had a brother (we think they are brothers), ALEXANDER
FRIERSON BLACK, who was born 1825-29 in MS, says census, lived in
Freestone Co., Navarro Co., and died in Mills Co. TX. He is my
gg-grandpa. He married Lucinda Green and they had 9 BLACK Children, all
sons except my great grandma, Margaret Jane Black.
