Am looking for the parents of Emily Black -b-sept - 1809; -d- 24 feb 1863. in
Covington, Tipton, Tn. -m- James Clark -b-aug 1806; -d- 26 feb 1863. some
said she was born in Ala but it wasn't a territory until 1816 and state in
1819. I believe she was born in Georgia. I found her and James in the 1830
census in Jackson Co., Ala. They had 7 children in Ala , the last being born
in 1840. They had 5 children beginning in 1842 in Covington, Tipton, Tenn.
