I have two Blacks (not brothers, as far as I know) born in KY.

BENJAMIN BLAIR BLACK b 1808 KY, father said to be John (FTM CD), BENJ.
married Rachel Berry in Jackson Co. AL, had 3 sons: John 1828, Wm.
Anderson, and Alexander 1836 before Rachel died of rattlesnake bite.
Married Jane Little in Benton/Calhoun Co. AL, had 8 children, some born
in Freestone Co. TX after 1850, and well over 80 grandchildren in TX in
the ensuing years. Lots of Blacks, and mostly in Freestone Co. TX.
I want to know more about his father, mother, siblings; I have many
descendants & will share info.

WILLIAM F. BLACK was born 1809-10 KY--maybe his father is named John,
too, as there are lots of Johns in the descendancy. WILLIAM m Willie
Harris in 1830 in Marengo Co. AL. He married Rhoda HYLTON in 1845 in
Marengo Co. AL., then they went to Bossier Parish, LA, where they had
3-4 children, who appeared in Anderson Co. TX by 1870 with other Black
family members (Joseph M & Thomas C Black) William may have died in LA
aft 1860.

Hope this sounds familiar to someone.
