Hi Laura, the Hackett page is linked from the genealogy depository
address in my signature file. The depository is the main index page for
all my surname lists. The actually address is
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~kshai/hackindex.htm but I suggest that
you may just want to go to the main address below and bookmark it:) Any
info you have would be terrific, but what kind of info is it that would
need a gedcom? just ur line? that is why I would like you to stop by
the main page and see what kind of info I'm interested in. There is
nothing wrong with a gedcom and i appreciate your offereing to submit
it, but I have no way to put it up on the homepage because I don't have
a gedcom to html converter and can't download one on this computer (I
don't have my own computer, just the schools). The main page lists the
type of info I am looking for and the Bradford page, like I said in the
original post, is a good working example of what I am talking about:)
If you want to send me your line, I suggest that you make a text file of
it because that is really the only way i can do that (unless someone
wants to buy me a computer:) hehe just kidding), this is just one of
those setbacks to being a poor college student working 2 part-time jobs
at minimum wage and having HIGH rent and trying to get residency in a
new state so i can't ask my parents to help...I can only afford food and
shelter, nothing else (I have hardly even bought myself any new clothes
since june!) and I just had to take out a $2500 student loan just to pay
the rent (almost $7,000 a year and I can't break the lease or they will
charge me $1,500 so anything cheaper I find before May, when my lease is
over, actually comes out to be about the same.) I have already become
about $800 in debt on credit cards paying for these lists, and buying a
few extra items, and rent. Once the loan comes through on Monday
(hopefully), it will still be short $300 on my rent so there is nothing
extra for a computer. I just wanted to let you (and the lists) know
what my situation is so you can understand why I can't just go out and
get a computer or something. I am sorry for any inconvenience to you,
but remember it's also a HUGE inconvenience to me. Thanks for
understanding about the gedcoms, but like I said, you can always put
them in a text file and send them that way (to the address
