While going through papers of my late uncle, I came across an undated four-
page typed manuscript containing genealogical history of ALEXANDER BLACK and
his wife MARY TEMPLETON, who emigrated from Ireland to the US and settled in
the York District of South Carolina before the Revolutionary War. The
manuscript was compiled by ANNA BLACK BROOKS (1916-1940).

I have no way of validating its accuracy, and the names contained therein are
not anywhere in my Black line.

If you want a copy of the manuscript, please send me a stamped self addressed
envelope. I'll mail you the copy rightaway. Send to Jerry Dalton, 6411
